Our Story
Born out of accessibility, affordability, and love for our community and planet
Our Mission
We strive to introduce and encourage refilling of existing containers to reduce our dependency on single-use plastics. Our low-barrier refilling process keeps eco-friendly products affordable, creating a community around low-waste living.
I'm Antje.
Although I am a Portland native, I feel connected to the town of Leipzig, Germany. With my experiences as a child visiting during the East German era and then as an adult after reunification, I have grown close to this city after witnessing its transformation. In Leipzig, there is a store that refills home cleaning and body supplies as well as bulk dry goods. While I utilize bulk food options in Portland, I had never thought of applying this concept to home and body products. This was my inspiration, and it gave me the courage to pursue a business when I had never been interested in having a business before.

"Refilling brings me joy. I know it’s just a small action, but it’s AN action that individuals can take."

Refilling Circle
A recurring contribution of $10/month will help Null Refillery purchase bulk eco-friendly laundry and dish soap refills offered for free through the community partners at McDaniel High School and its food pantry.
Refills will be offered in reclaimed glass jars with labels in the world languages that reflect the McDaniel community. Labels will encourage return of the empty jars for further refilling.
